Vocare Retreat
May 31 – June 2, 2013 at Kirkridge Retreat Center, Bangor, PA
The Vocare Retreat for young adults ages 18-30 is a weekend led by young adults for young adults to reflect on their vocations in a place that is welcoming, engaging and relaxed. Through twelve different talks which each focus on different facets of the Christian faith life, Vocare provides connections to God’s call and the time for contemplation and reflection about how to carry that out.

Myra Garnes Shuler was instituted into her new ministry at the diocese on September 25, 2010.

A Word on Ages
The Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry provides programs for youth who are currently in grades 6-12.  Young Adult Ministry programs are designed for ages 18-35.
A Word on Scholarships
It is our goal that no child, youth, college student, or young adult miss an event because of financial reasons.  We offer scholarship assistance for all of our programs. We raise funds for this purpose. Ideally we ask the family to pay 1/3, the parish 1/3, and diocesan scholarship funds 1/3.  We work with our congregations to make sure their young people have funding to attend events and camps.
