Pictures of fund raiser for the "Kids Care" project
On a beautiful summer Sunday afternoon in August, instead of going to the beach, 14 members of the youth group from the Cathedral of the Incarnation sponsored a car wash event that raised over $360. All of the proceeds will go towards their “Kids Care” project. The goal of this project is to provide backpacks and school supplies for foster children in Nassau County entering first and second grade. The last photo shows the 104 backpacks ready to be delivered to the Nassau County Foster Care Agency.
